Remi Wachtenheim, a senior art history major who also works as the administrator for the no -profit art and culture magazine, The Miami Rail has approached us with this request for interns.
"We are an expansion of the Brooklyn Rail, and have just celebrated the release of our tenth issue!
We are looking for two new interns from the art/art history departments to begin as soon as possible. I was hoping you could send out an email explaining the opportunities below.
Both internships are unpaid, but we are able to sign for credits assuming they will continue through the Spring semester. We have a production internship and a social media internship available. Both interns must have access to a computer and car. They are mostly remote positions, working through email and online, however there will also be different events and meetings they need to attend in person. Specifically for the social media internship, our ideal intern is someone who is familiar with the Miami art world and will be able to produce appropriate art related content for our Instagram, Facebook, and twitter accounts, as well as format emails on our mail chimp account. "
interested parties should respond with their resume at administrator@miamirail.org.
The upcoming Basel issue is especially big, and the interns will have many opportunities to learn and develop new connections through the magazine.
