USING THE LAB OUTSIDE OF CLASS HOURS

The lab (CL145) is available to you whenever there is not a class in session. This is generally:
  •  MWF night (4:30-9pm)
  •  TR (4:30-6:30)
  •  all day Friday (9am-9pm)
  •  Sunday noon to 6pm).
Saturday use of the building is for the grad students only, though CL145 is not a popular lab and you can often find a lab monitor to let you in. Tues. and Thur. the lab is unavailable EXCEPT between 4:30 and 6:30.

If the door to the lab is locked, look for the building lab monitor on duty. They keep a desk near the back door (on the other side of the darkroom) and there is a schedule of who is on duty in the back hall. Lamia Korshid is the lab supervisor--her office is 2 doors down from CL145 and her office hours are posted. Call during her office hours and ask how to connect with the lab monitor on duty if you know a specific day you need to get in. Another digital lab in the building seldom in use is CL118; the lab monitor should have a key to open either door.

There are also Mac labs running Adobe software in the School of Communications, and a handful of machines on the first floor of Richter Library.

If you visit the lab outside of our class hours you may also find the nearest door to the building locked. You can enter at the main door near the big "graffiti" sign ("Art has no enemies").
