Technique for Producing Ideas


 A while back in class I mentioned James Webb Young's guide for young professionals on "Incubation"-- an important but oft-forgotten step in the design process.  James Webb Young was an early creative director for the ad firm J. Walter Thompson in NY. He's one of the pioneers in modern commercial design. This booklet can be found on Google Books at the link below. There are also PDF versions available out there on the Web that you can easily find if you search. It's a quick read and a very useful resource for you.
