What would you do with this image?

Is it repairable? Is it best left as is?

  1. I can see a few areas that would respond well to some TLC. Considering most of his right sleeve is intact, you could possibly use it to help repair the one on the left. The white splotches and other marks can be smoothed out or fixed and portions of the curtain could extend with...perhaps the rubber stamp tool? If all else fails, I would say crop it!

  2. I would repare it by cropping it. I would attempt to fix the white dots. I would try to make the focus on the gentleman's face.

  3. I love the roughness of this image. While I can definitely see it being repaired, I think it would be really interesting if used as is. The rough, torn edges would lend themselves to a "grunge-y" layered piece and the clothing and old fashioned vibe have a great sense of nostalgia and mystery.
