Animoto, Portfolio Slide Show For Fun & Video for Profit

One of the fun tools I love to experiment with on the Web is Animoto--a splendid video mash-up site. Thirty second video slideshows are free to make and for a very reasonable price you can also make 3 minute videos. Today, on my day off I am experimenting with visuals for a book site I'm working on, and I sent images related to the book to Animoto to see what they'd create for me (it's an automatic process and takes only a few mintutes to render once you've loaded your JPEGs and MP3s.)

When you're done you can retrieve the code to embed the finished product on Facebook or on your own website. I'm embedding the piece I worked on here recently for you to see--because I find this is a great way to display your artwork for future and present job searches. Give it a go! The website is http://animoto.com/
