Logo contest for the 2015 American Conference for Irish Studies:

UMs Department of English is sponsoring a logo contest for an upcoming Irish studies conference in March 2015. The designer of the winning logo will receive a $100 cash prize from the English Department and will have their design featured on all conference materials, including backpacks, brochures, flyers, and the conference website!

The conference theme is Irish Speculations: Space, Time, History. Your logo need not reflect the theme directly, though we encourage logos that incorporate aspects of the theme or the general concept of Irish Studies in South Florida.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION:
-Designs must be submitted via email to j.mendes1@umiami.edu by May 15, 2014.
-Logos must be full-color, minimum resolution of 700dpi
-We prefer logos in vector format, though high-resolution JPG will be accepted
-You may submit as many logos for consideration as you wish

This is an excellent opportunity for budding graphic designers to add to their resume and work portfolios! Any questions regarding the rules or guidelines can be addressed to j.mendes1@umiami.edu.
