Dear Art + Art History students,

I am the co-founder of Sktchy<http://www.sktchy.com>, a Miami-based startup that inspires people to share their creativity with the world. One way we do this is with our iPhone app<http://www.sktchy.com/app>, which Apple is currently featuring as a Best New App in the App Store. 

Using the Sktchy iPhone app, artists around the world have created and shared thousands of original portraits, each inspired by a face in the Sktchy photo gallery. Sktchy also furthers its mission through events like our recent launch party, which drew 500+ people to Wynwood for a night of live art.

As Sktchy takes root around the world, we want to deepen our ties to Miami's artist community, which inspired us in the first place. In particular we would love to collaborate with UM students on a project that helps them share their creativity with people in Miami and around the world. Sktchy is unique in that it is a homegrown platform with a global community, fun and easy to participate in, and it's in the wheelhouse of young creative "digital natives" like you.
