For Monday...

Take a look at the instructions for Practice 3. (We will be going over this at the beginning of class.) Find an image that you can work with to create an icon for your own server folder. Any image that is completely shown in the photo and with a background that is simple will work. You will be working with iWeb to learn the concept of masking and dropping out a background.

Read Chapter 6 on Value

Wednesday

Read Chapter 8 on Color plus "Color Theory" (online) in the Mod 1 tab

Read Chapter 9: Using Color

Quiz 1 will be given in class (Covering Chapters 1, 2, 6, 8, 9; all previously assigned online readings in the Mod1 tab; the first set of PS videos (on Camera Raw); and lectures from classes to date (refer to the Powerpoints on the Mod1 tab, where you will also find vocabulary study guides for each chapter covered.)

Friday

Assignment 1 Due (Before & After Photo Enhancement) at beginning of class (5 points)
Assignment 2 (Color Exercise) due at end of class (5 points) at end of class (5 points)

Present ideas/thumbnails to me for your Visual Abstraction (A#3).
