The Department of Art and Art History Faculty Exhibition will open this Friday September 24 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the College of Arts and Sciences Gallery at 1210 Stanford Drive.
The paintings, photography, sculpture, and other artwork of faculty members from the Department of Art and Art History are on display through Friday, October 29 at the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Gallery.
In celebration of the exhibition’s opening, a reception for the artists will be held on Friday, September 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. Other viewing times can be arranged by appointment.
This year’s faculty show includes the works of UM professors Bill Carlson (sculpture/glass), Brian Curtis (drawing), Darby Bannard (painting), Ivan Albrecht (ceramics), Lise Drost (printmaking), Billie Lynn (sculpture), Mariah Fox Hausman (graphic design), Kyle Trowbridge (painting), Tom Lopez (photography), and many more.
The CAS Gallery is located at the Wesley Foundation on UM’s Coral Gables campus. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. The gallery is closed on Sundays and Mondays. A full schedule of exhibitions can be viewed at www.as.miami.edu/art.
